Dr. Patrick Ryan, DC

Dr. Patrick Ryan, DC was born and raised in Nevada City and moved back to the area in 2020 after a decade in Portland, Oregon, to raise his two young sons in this place he loves so much.  Alongside his wife Clare, Dr. Patrick opened River Run Chiropractic with the vision of serving this community with innovative and individualized care tailored to patients’ specific needs.

Dr. Patrick graduated from the University of Western States in 2014 with his chiropractic degree and a Masters of Science in Exercise and Sport Science.

Adjoa Margaret Stack, CCH - Front Desk

Adjoa moved to the area in the fall of 2022 from the Bay Area to be closer to family and nature. Adjoa not only works at our front desk, she is also a homeopath with extensive experience. From 2006 to 2014, Adjoa ran two seasonal Homeopathic clinics in Ghana, West Africa with an emphasis on treating Malaria. Later, she operated a reduced-cost clinic in Oakland, CA, and organized an online support network of homeopaths during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Tyler Simmons - Front Desk

Tyler is a wonderful part of River Run' Chiropractic’s front desk team and in addition, he’s a fabulous local realtor working with Century 21.


Clare Ryan, Co-owner

Clare is Dr. Patrick’s partner in life and business. Clare is responsible for River Run’s social media, website, partnerships, and cookie supply.

When not working in the back office on her computer, Clare can be found wrangling Hank and Paxton, cooking, walking with Halsey or planning a community gathering.

Cara Le Ann, CMT

Cara shares office space with River Run Chiropractic. Cara has her own independent practice as a massage therapist and midwife. She lives in Nevada County with her partner and two children, both of whom were born at home. Every session with Cara is uniquely tailored to a client’s goals as well as their current body state, whether their goal is to relax or to address chronic pain.

Cara integrates myofascial therapy rehabilitative techniques like cross fiber, longitudinal release, and tense and relax stretches; all of which help to reorganize muscle fibers (helps release knots) and to lengthen muscles that have been contracted and restrictive of movement.
